The deadline for applications is Monday 16th October.
Account executives at Orchard PR work on PR campaigns for some of the biggest and best businesses and organisations in Guernsey, Jersey and the Isle of Man. They draft news releases, speak to journalists, co-ordinate photoshoots and media calls, manage social media and monitor the local, national and trade media for coverage of clients.
Our employees learn from working alongside some of the best PR people and studying with the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.
Typically joining our team with one or two years experience our account executives have gone on to pursue top PR roles in London, Australia and Guernsey’s finance or public sectors. Others stay at Orchard to become star members of the senior consultancy team.
PR is “always on” and demands energy and commitment, pace, focus and attention to detail. It requires a way with words – writers with accuracy, clarity and a strong vocabulary. It can also be great fun and suits people who want to exercise creativity in their work.
Trainee Account Executives
Alongside our more experienced team members Orchard also offers opportunities for trainee account executives. This position is ideal for those without prior PR experience and for recent graduates of a wide range of degrees. Our trainees study with the CIPR and benefit from mentoring from our experienced team of professionals.

Be a PR apprentice at Orchard
Orchard has an excellent track record of growing its own PR experts. We have always invested in professional PR qualifications and we have a proven track record in developing graduates into highly-skilled PR practitioners.

Throughout their development and training Orchard’s apprentice will have the full support of Orchard’s team of experienced professionals – the majority of whom have completed similar professional training funded by Orchard.
How to apply:
Orchard will be hiring a new apprentice in July 2018.
