Steve has three decades of experience in media circles, the last 20 years working in PR. A former Heart of England Journalist of the Year, he leads Orchard’s Guernsey based PR consultancy team and specialises in providing public relations advice to clients in the financial services and professional services sectors. Steve is Chairman of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations’ Channel Islands Group. He loves to work a room or, failing that, a guitar shop.

Emma Anderson MCIPR

One of Orchard’s senior public relations consultants, Emma worked as a journalist in the UK and Australia for nearly 20 years taking in Fleet Street, independent radio and international television news. Emma specialises in professional services communication and also works with Orchard to advise and train Guernsey and Jersey organisations on effective communication skills including media encounters. Good presentation is a vital part of Emma’s media strategy, which goes some way to explain her collection of 65 (and counting) pairs of killer heels.

Diana Stenner MCIPR

Di is one of Orchard’s senior public relations consultants. A member of the CIPR she gained the majority of her PR experience in the City working for a multinational FTSE 100 company. A local Guernsey girl (with a little Jersey blood) she returned the Channel Islands some ten years ago and has advised PR clients in a diverse range of business sectors. Once given the nickname ‘Sporty Orchard’ by a client, Di manages to juggle her PR career around her other passions; golf and motherhood.

Brooke Kenyon MCIPR

Brooke has a degree in public relations and has spent eight years in the communications industry working predominantly across consumer lifestyle brands, with clients ranging from Captain Birds Eye to Harrods official florist Kenneth Turner. Brooke manages Orchard’s most diverse portfolio of public relations clients spanning the finance, music and retail sectors. Brooke is a self-confessed Sunday Times Style addict and her collection of Vogue magazines could rival any dedicated fashion journalist.

Chris Chilton MCIPR
Consultant
Chris is an experienced communications and PR professional and has spent time in London and Guernsey working in the media, public sector and finance industry. Chris has particular public relations expertise in online and social media and is an Accredited Practitioner of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations. Chris holds a masters degree in film studies and a post-graduate diploma in public relations from the CIPR. A sailing nut, when he is not in the Orchard office you can usually find Chris out on the water around Guernsey and Jersey.

Catherine Le Prevost MCIPR
Senior Account Executive
Catherine was a broadcast journalist before embarking on a public relations career with Orchard PR Guernsey. On the news desk at Island FM she developed excellent journalistic skill and a sound knowledge of the Channel Islands media industry. Catherine has a first class degree in media studies with an emphasis on political communication and her dissertation on the media’s reporting of the politics of Northern Ireland is on display in the Linen Hall Library in Belfast.

Harriet Black MCIPR

Harriet (aka Harry) returned home to Guernsey after four years of studying and working in South Wales to continue her PR career as an account executive with Orchard. Harry has a degree in media and public relations from Swansea University and has completed the CIPR diploma in public relations. When she’s not reading the latest headlines or tweeting about PR news, Harry likes to indulge in a little retail therapy and is a passionate supporter of the Welsh rugby team.

John is one of Orchard’s account executives and previously worked as a freelance journalist writing mainly on Guernsey’s music scene. Holding a degree in Psychology with Criminology he has also worked in finance, events and the Prison Service. John is an avid fan of music and a voracious reader. When not exploring social media and news websites, he will usually be found playing the guitar or getting involved in local events.

Sarah George ACIPR
Account Executive
Sarah joined Orchard as an account executive straight out of University, after graduating with a degree in photography. She has photographed events and museum archives, organised exhibitions in Guernsey and London and is now applying these skills to a career in PR. Outside Orchard, when she is not busy tweeting or taking photos, Sarah can be found with her head buried in a book, particularly the latest crime fiction novels.

Emmanuelle Bonham ACIPR

Emmanuelle graduated from The University of Greenwich with a CIPR accredited PR degree and joined Orchard shortly after. She has gained communications experience over several internships with PR and media agencies including Hope & Glory PR and with the PR and events team at Buckingham and St James’s Palaces. She is the newest member of the PR team and outside of Orchard she spends her time discovering new music and baking cupcakes.

Lois Falla FCCA
Director
A joint founder of Orchard PR, Lois qualified with a Guernsey accounting practice working within the fiduciary sector, having previously gained accounting experience with several trading companies. She oversees the corporate and financial governance of the company along with some operational responsibilities. Lois has a strong entrepreneurial flair and an optimistic outlook on life – a creative living in an accountant’s body.

Hannah Kershaw
Office Assistant
Hannah co-ordinates media clippings for Orchard’s clients and assists with event preparation and other general office work. She joined Orchard after completing her studies at the Grammar School and Sixth Form Centre where she gained A-levels in Business Studies, Environmental Studies and Psychology. When not in the office Hannah can often be found down at the stables preparing her horse Benji for competitions with her main passion being for dressage.
