Steve Falla FCIPR
Steve has more than three decades of experience in media circles, the last 20 years working in PR. A former Heart of England Journalist of the Year, he leads Orchard’s PR consultancy team and specialises in issues management and in providing public relations advice to clients in the financial services and professional services sectors. Steve is a former executive board member and council member of the national Chartered Institute of Public Relations, a member of the Guernsey IOD committee and a commissioner of the Guernsey Language Commission. He loves to work a room or, failing that, a guitar shop.

Emma Anderson MCIPR
One of Orchard’s senior public relations consultants, Emma worked as a journalist in the UK and Australia for nearly 20 years taking in Fleet Street, independent radio and international television news. Emma specialises in professional services communication and also works with Orchard to advise and train Guernsey and Jersey organisations on effective communication skills including media encounters. Good presentation is a vital part of Emma’s media strategy, which goes some way to explain her collection of 65 (and counting) pairs of killer heels.

Diana Stenner MCIPR
Di is one of Orchard’s senior public relations consultants. A member of the CIPR she gained the majority of her PR experience in the City working for a multinational FTSE 100 company. A local Guernsey girl (with a little Jersey blood) she returned to the Channel Islands some ten years ago and has advised PR clients in a diverse range of business sectors. Once given the nickname ‘Sporty Orchard’ by a client, Di manages to juggle her PR career around her other passions; golf and motherhood.

Brooke Kenyon MCIPR
Brooke has a degree in public relations and is an experienced communications professional. Having spent time in London and Guernsey she has experience across a range of consumer lifestyle brands. Brooke manages Orchard’s most diverse portfolio of public relations clients spanning the finance, beauty and retail sectors. Brooke is a self-confessed magazine addict and a keen runner.

Chris Chilton MCIPR
Chris is an experienced communications and PR professional and has spent time in London and Guernsey working in the media, public sector and finance industry. Chris has particular expertise in online and social media and is an Accredited Practitioner of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations. Chris holds a masters degree in film studies and a post-graduate diploma in public relations from the CIPR. A sailing nut, when he is not in the Orchard office you can usually find Chris out on the water around Guernsey and Jersey.

Harriet Black MCIPR
Harriet (aka Harry) returned home to Guernsey after four years of studying media and public relations and working in PR roles in South Wales to continue her career as an account executive with Orchard. Now an account director, Harry has completed the CIPR diploma in public relations and is a member of the CIPR Channel Islands’ Committee. She also likes to indulge in a little retail therapy and is a passionate supporter of the Welsh rugby team.

John McCarthy MCIPR
Senior Account Executive
John is Orchard’s senior account executive and previously worked as a freelance journalist writing mainly on Guernsey’s music scene. John has completed the CIPR Advanced Certificate in PR and is a member of the CIPR Channel Islands’ Committee. Holding a degree in Psychology with Criminology he has also worked in finance, events and the Prison Service. John is an avid fan of music and a voracious reader and can often be found playing the guitar or getting involved in local events.

Sarah George MCIPR
Sarah joined Orchard as an account executive straight out of University, after graduating with a degree in photography. She has photographed events and museum archives, organised exhibitions in Guernsey and London and is now applying these skills to a career in PR. Outside Orchard, Sarah is a Barnardo’s trained volunteer for local youth advice service, The Hub, and can sometimes be found behind the counter of youth café, The Caves, where she makes a great hot chocolate.

Dan Gallienne ACIPR
Dan joined Orchard after working for the States of Guernsey in a variety of roles. Prior to that he studied English and American Studies at the University of Nottingham before completing a Master’s degree in English Literature at the University of Leeds. At university he was an active part of campus life responsible for organising a student conference. In his spare time Dan is a keen reader of American literature and enjoys running, so can often be found out around the coast whatever the weather.

Kate graduated with a degree in English Literature and Philosophy from The University of Edinburgh where she also took an active role in student media and played basketball for the university’s team. Before joining Orchard Kate did work experience as a journalist and worked in a junior marketing role. She loves books and would one day like to write a few of her own. Kate also spent a summer serving butterbeer to muggles at a Harry Potter theme park in Florida.

Junior Account Executive
Chloe is Orchard’s apprentice. She joined the company after studying Media, Business and Film at The Guernsey Grammar School and Sixth Form Centre. At Orchard, Chloe co-ordinates media clippings for Orchard’s clients and assists with event preparation and other general office work. Alongside her work she is also studying towards PR qualifications and in her spare time she works on her own video and film projects.

Lois Falla FCCA
A joint founder of Orchard PR, Lois is a fellow of the ACCA with a wealth of experience across banking, corporate and fiduciary sectors. She oversees the corporate and financial governance of the company along with some operational responsibilities. Lois has a strong entrepreneurial flair and an optimistic outlook on life – a creative living in an accountant’s body.
