Putting a musical spin on Skipton’s thought-provoking mental health campaign
Orchard organised Skipton's "Purple Monday" campaign rocking the Channel Islands with music, mental health awareness, and community spirit.
See the resultsThe Guernsey Chamber of Commerce has been advocating for improved banking services in Guernsey. We were asked to help promote the campaign at the Chamber’s flagship Gala Dinner event, featuring Dave Fishwick, renowned founder of ‘Bank of Dave’ as the keynote speaker.
With more than 470 business leaders at the event, the Chamber team knew they had a golden opportunity to educate the room on their hard work done to date, the real-world impact of this issue and the opportunity to come together to tackle it.
We created a clear brand identity for the campaign – this was used before, during and after the event across all promotional materials. Aspects of the banking issues were complicated, with numerous reasons why businesses were experiencing challenges. To communicate these effectively we developed a bespoke video animation which premiered at the Gala Dinner – the content was created to have a deliberately long shelf life so it could be used at other Chamber of Commerce events, meetings with stakeholders, and across social media channels.
To raise awareness of the campaign beyond those in attendance at the Gala Dinner, our creative production team captured photos and footage of the event – which received high engagement across LinkedIn. The video has been viewed more than 3,000 times.
As a direct outcome of the Chamber of Commerce’s Better Business Banking campaign, the Guernsey Financial Services Commission has amended the rules and guidance in the Financial Crime Handbook on pooled accounts.
“The support provided by Orchard was nothing short of remarkable. The team were pivotal in creating a fresh, dynamic brand for our landmark event, which helped it sell out in record time. The animated video helped bring our Better Business Banking campaign to life and effectively engaged stakeholders to improve business banking services. Thanks to Orchard, we have achieved significant progress. As a direct outcome of this campaign, the Guernsey Financial Services Commission has made significant changes that will benefit businesses in Guernsey.”
