Brooke is Orchard’s client services director with responsibility for managing client teams and setting Orchard’s strategy for providing PR services to a diverse client base. An experienced communications professional, she has a degree in public relations and is a CIPR Accredited Practitioner. She has spent time in London working with a range of consumer lifestyle brands and is a committee member of the CIPR Channel Islands group.

Chris Chilton Chart.PR MCIPR
Managing Director (Operations)
Chris, as Orchard’s operations director, has overall responsibility for making the agency work effectively for its clients – overseeing Orchard’s systems and delivery strategies. He is a Chartered PR Practitioner specialising in online and social media and has experience in London’s media, public sector and finance industries. Chris has completed the CIPR post-graduate diploma in public relations and holds a master’s degree in Film Studies. He is also a keen sailor and sits on the board of directors for local charity the Guernsey Sailing Trust.

Diana Stenner MCIPR
Di is one of Orchard’s senior public relations consultants. A member of the CIPR she gained the majority of her PR experience in the City working for a multinational FTSE 100 company. A local Guernsey girl (with Jersey blood) she returned to the Channel Islands some 17 years ago with her family and has advised PR clients in a diverse range of business sectors. Once given the nickname ‘Sporty Orchard’ by a client, Di manages to juggle her PR career around her other passions; golf, open water swimming and cycling.

Harriet Black MCIPR
Harriet started her career at Orchard as an account executive and is now a member of the account director team. She has a degree in media and public relations and has completed the CIPR diploma in public relations. She manages a diverse portfolio of clients across the Crown Dependencies and is often in the Isle of Man visiting clients. Harriet is a CIPR Accredited Practitioner and is a member of the CIPR Channel Islands’ Committee. She was named in PR Week’s Top 30 under 30 list for 2015 and was also shortlisted for Outstanding Young Communicator in the 2014 South of England and Channel Islands Pride Awards. Harriet is a notorious trashy TV fan and is a passionate supporter of the Welsh rugby team.

Steve Falla Chart.PR FCIPR
Steve is the founder and former managing director of Orchard PR. He has spent almost four decades in media circles, and now advises the Orchard senior team as an executive consultant. A former award-winning journalist, he specialises in issues management and in providing public relations advice to clients in the financial services and professional services sectors. Steve is a Chartered PR practitioner, a former executive board and council member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, a member of the Guernsey IOD committee and a director of Elizabeth College, Guernsey.

Dan Gallienne MCIPR
With a keen eye for grammatical accuracy and a passion for puns fostered by five years studying literature at the Universities of Nottingham, Illinois and Leeds, Dan is one of the keener writers in the Orchard team. With clients across financial services as well as the telecoms and property sectors he regularly gets to put his writing skills to good use. When he’s not coming up with puns he can be found out running or knee-deep in mud at a music festival.

Xara has a Masters in Creative Writing, has worked in the film, television and advertising industries and has written several television commercials and created advertising campaigns for a range of well-known national and international brands. Xara worked for Big Talk Productions as an on-set assistant to the producer and later as an assistant to the TV drama development producer. She is a keen scriptwriter and since joining Orchard in 2018 is enjoying applying her creative skillset to a variety of PR campaigns.

Megan graduated from The University of Winchester with a first class degree in Media Production and first joined Orchard as an intern on a Creative Industries Guernsey placement scheme. Now a permanent employee her film making skills are being used to broaden Orchard’s creative range. At university she was actively involved in organising an annual film awards event and on the weekends Megan enjoys watching movies and taking her little dog, Buffy, for a walk on the beach.

Emily is a graduate of the University of Winchester, holding a degree in English. She has previously worked for the States of Guernsey and joined Orchard after a six month stint in Cambodia where she taught English to women rescued from trafficking as well as setting up evening classes for the local community. Alongside a passion for travelling Emily enjoys walks on the beach with her dog and reading everything from classic novels to biographies.

Account executive Tessa studied English Literature and Philosophy at the University of Leeds before travelling around Hong Kong, Asia, the Philippines and Sri Lanka. Since returning to Guernsey she has worked in online and digital marketing before joining Orchard at the end of 2017. Tessa loves fashion, Tarintino films, history and documentaries but also wouldn’t turn down a good dose of trashy TV.

Junior Account Executive
Chris is Orchard’s latest apprentice having joined the company soon after graduating from the Business Studies course at the Guernsey College of Further Education. Chris helps our team produce media coverage reports, organise events and he undertakes many other office administration tasks. He has a strong passion for sport, especially football, and plays several times a week – so if you can’t find Chris at the office he’ll likely be on the pitch.
